Produced by Rigolleau Glass Company from Buenos Aires in the 1940s. This Argentinian glass factory was an expert in copying the designs of René Lalique. This vase is inspired by Lalique's vase Archer from 1921, the color is called 'electric blue'. The original Archer vase in this beautiful color is a museum piece and of great value. The quality and finish of the work of the great master is of course unrivaled, but this beautiful vase from
Rigolleau looks excellent and has no scratches or damage, which is special given the age of about 75 years!
A Rigolleau in 'electric blue' and in this condition is rarely offered and therefore this is a real collector's object. Made of thick blue frosted glass with beautiful figuration and on top a chromed steel rim (which of course has some cleaning marks). The diameter is approx. 24 cm, the height is 25 cm.
